This doctor is amazing! We have attended several boot camps and love them all. His book is amazing and gives so many helpful tips and wonderful healthy foods and ideas. Dr Erbellla is an amazing doctor and his PA Jill is wonderful. I have been a patient for over 15 years and he treats us like family. Breast cancer runs in my family and this book has opened my eyes as to what I need to do to as a preventative! He has made my life and my husband’s (who is a 3 time cancer survivor)more aware and this has made made our journey so much better. Truly a live changing event and this book is a wonderful reference for his wonderful work with cancer and cancer awareness. I strongly urge you to read it and follow all the wonderful hints and information and he did all the illustrations. Man of many talents! Wonderful read, please try it, it will change your life as it has mine/ours. My life is so much better than ever thanks to Dr E and Jill!

This book is a great resource for those of us who have had cancer and for those who are trying to prevent cancer from occurring. I had the privilege to take part in Dr. Erbella’s seminar and learned so much from him! I was able to lose weight and keep it off by following his teachings, all the while practicing a healthful approach to eating. I highly recommend this book!

Dr. Jose Erbella has been a tremendous blessing in my life — not only as the skilled surgeon who performed my procedure, but as a true advocate for prevention and long-term health. His new book, Advice for the High Risk: 10 Things to Know to Lower Your Risk of Breast Cancer, is exactly the kind of resource every woman should have in her hands. What I appreciate most is that this book goes beyond statistics and medical jargon. It’s practical, encouraging, and deeply personal — written by a surgeon who genuinely wants to see women thrive outside of the operating room rather than face him inside it. The chapters are easy to follow and cover everything from nutrition and lifestyle to genetics, inflammation, exercise, and the power of positivity. Each section gave me clear, actionable steps that I know will guide me for the rest of my life. For me, this isn’t just a book — it’s a lifelong guide. It reminds me that while risk factors may exist, we still have the power to make choices that protect our health and extend our lives. Knowing that proceeds also help provide books for high-risk patients who may not be able to afford them only makes this work more meaningful. I’m grateful for Dr. Erbella’s care, his mission, and now this book. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take control of their health, reduce their risk, and feel empowered with knowledge.
