A refreshing collection summarizes each chapter of the Gospel of Luke in everyday English. Reflections and discussion prompts make it easy to read individually, as a Bible study, or in a book club. This 110-page book follows the order of Scripture, verse by verse, and examines the relationships among the events, parables, and miracles of Jesus. Often, two or more elements go together; a story illustrates the spiritual interpretation of a question or situation. Reading scriptures in context calls us to shift our outlook to align with the way Christ leads us through his actions and words. All the quotes are from the English Standard Version.
