Just as Ash is making some real progress on achieving his dreams, an unexpected but welcome visitor from Noscula Village arrives in Itsutsu to see him: Father Folke. Unfortunately, the exciting news the priest has come to deliver is accompanied by information most worrisome. It seems that within the royal capital, the battle over who is to be the next successor to the throne is growing more and more fraught. As a result, waves of unrest are said to be spreading through their entire nation, and Itsutsu itself may have to weather the storm one day soon.
Sure enough, shortly after Father Folke departs, a strange merchant appears in Itsutsu on the trail of someone they seem to think is hiding within the margravate. And if Ash’s suspicions are correct, the very person they’re looking for may be one of his friends—and they might now be in mortal peril.
